2017 Draft Lottery and Schedule

The 2017 Draft Lottery was conducted earlier this week with Antonio and Maria. The 1st and 2nd picks were up for grabs in the lottery and the remaining picks are based on last years standings. Tyrion’s Tyrants won and maintained the 1st pick with a 28.57% chance to maintain that 1st pick. T.D. Parker won the 2nd pick, jumping up two spots. The results and remaining picks are listed in the table below.

The draft will be on August 30 at 7:30pm and as usual it is a straight draft. The deadline to declare your keepers is August 23. Don’t forget to review your players draft value. Remember you can keep up to 3 players. The 2017 regular season schedule has also been generated.

Keepers

2017 Keeper Player Values

The deadline to declare your keepers is going to be 1 week before the draft day (TBD). To declare your keepers go to the yahoo site, hover over “My Team” menu and select “choose keepers”. This will bring you to a page where you can select up to 3 players to keep. It will be finalized once I review that the keepers are valid based on the rules below. If you fail to declare your keepers by the deadline then all of your players will be returned to the pool to be drafted.

The following is each team’s final roster for 2016 along with their draft value if you decide to keep that player.  Their draft values are based on where they where drafted last year, regardless of who drafted them. If a player was undrafted and later picked up then they are worth a 16th round pick (last round of the draft). The chart below is sortable on the website or you can use the search feature to search for your team name and display only your team. You can also download the chart or print it.

2016 Game of Throws Keeper Chart

All of the keepers have been reported and declared for the 2016 Season. The following keeper chart reflects what has been reported to the league. Please report any errors you may come across.

This year there were a total of 28 players that were kept. 18 of those players were kept for a 2nd year and 10 were kept for a 3rd year. Out of the 28 keepers, 16 were wide receivers, 7 were running backs, 4 were quarterbacks and 1 was a tight end (I’m guessing you could all guess who that was). 8 teams kept 3 players, 1 team kept 2 players, 2 teams kept 1 player and 1 team (Tyrion’s Tyrants) decided a clean slate was the way to go this year.

That’s it for our keeper stats. Download links should be available above the chart. Thank you for being prompt and good luck with the draft next week.
